Volodymyr Viktorovich Klepinin (“Vlad”) has been a member of the firm since 2010. Initially he received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Civil Law from the Odessa State University, Odessa, Ukraine. From 2008 to 2009, he worked in the field of personal injury law at one of Bay Street’s insurance defence firms.
In 2012, Vlad obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. While attending law school, he obtained valuable experience as a caseworker at the University of Windsor’s Community Legal Aid Clinic. He gained valuable insight and experience as a summer student at a Toronto personal injury firm during the summer months of 2010 and 2011.
Vlad articled with the firm and returned as an associate after his call to the bar in June 2013. He has a broad civil litigation practice with primary focus on personal injury matters in the areas of motor vehicle negligence, statutory accident benefits and occupiers’ liability.
Vlad has extensive experience drafting opinions, litigation plans, motion records, mediation briefs, facts and pleadings. He has appeared before arbitrators at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as masters and judges of the Superior Court of Justice.
In his spare time, Vlad enjoys spending time with his friends and family in the GTA, travelling, swimming, yoga, soccer & weight lifting.
