Tamara has been a member of the firm since 2011. After receiving an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario she worked in the field of corporate law before completing her articles in the field of Civil Litigation.
In 2011, Tamara obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. While attending law school, she volunteered for the Community and Legal Aid Services Program where she gained experience advocating for individuals who were unable to navigate the complex legal system on their own.
Tamara articled for the firm and joined the team as an Associate following her call to the bar in 2012. She currently specializes in Statutory Accident Benefit claims, occupiers’ liability including slip and fall cases, as well as motor vehicle negligence. In 2015, Tamara completed the Advanced Certificate in Dispute Resolution at York University where she honed her mediation skills and conducted her own mediations at Small Claims Court. As part of her litigation practice, Tamara drafts pleadings, facts, mediation briefs, motion records, and proposals. She has appeared before arbitrators at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as masters and judges of the Superior Court of Justice.
When she is not working, Tamara enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, reading, and exploring new countries.
